Getting started

Contact us to book a free 15 minute consultation to make sure your psychologist feels like the right fit. You complete a detailed intake form and sign consent before your first session. This helps us begin with a strong foundation and shared understanding.

Your First Session

You and your psychologist review informed consent, discuss what brought you here, explore your history, and identify goals. You leave with a clear sense of direction and an understanding of how we’ll work collaboratively together to create a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and pace in therapy.

Returning Sessions

Sessions focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship, exploring patterns in your brain, body, and emotions, and practicing new ways of responding to stress and relationships. You learn skills in session, then apply them in daily life. Change develops through practice, reflection, and honest conversations.

Between Sessions

Growth continues outside the therapy room. You are encouraged to use tools, skills, reflect, and engage with resources and homework between appointments. These steps help your therapeutic work deepen and integrate into everyday liffe

Check-In Sessions

As you gain confidence and handle challenges more easily, sessions may space out or pause. Some clients choose occasional check-ins; others continue on their own. The goal is stability, self-support, and well-being. You’re always welcome back if life changes and you’d like to reconnect.
